Internal Quality Assurance Cell
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a key step in setting long-term quality standards. IQAC is a significant administrative body that is responsible for all quality matters. It is the prime responsibility of IQAC to initiate, plan and monitor various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education, research and administrative aspects imparted in an institution. The role of IQAC in maintaining quality standards in teaching, learning and evaluation become crucial, and the present focus is to improve the functioning of IQAC with its expected outcomes. To channelise all efforts and measures of the university towards promoting its holistic academic excellence, the IQAC (formerly known as the Centre for Quality Assurance and Academic Development – CQAAD) has been established. The prime task of the IQAC is to facilitate and participate in the development of a system for conscious and consistent improvement in the academic, research and administrative performance of the university.
