CQAAD, Nirma University organised the 4th Faculty Induction Training Programme, a four week long programme starting from May 28, 2018 to June 22, 2018. Thirty six faculty members from the different constituent Institutes under Nirma University participated in the Induction Training Programme. Accordingly, the programme was designed in two phases. Phase-I of three weeks (May 28-June 16, 2018) included about fifty five sessions in the area of effective classroom teaching and pedagogy, personality development, rules and regulations of Nirma University. Phase-II was of one week (June 17-June 22, 2018) and offered discipline specific skill enhancements to the participants under the guidance of a mentor from their respective Institute. The programme content was delivered by around fifty five eminent resource persons through combination of theory/counselling, practical/hands-on-sessions, etc.
The induction programme was inaugurated on May 28, 2018 in the august presence of Dr A R Jani, Director, Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre for Applied Research and Testing (SICART), Sardar Patel Centre for Science and Technology. The occasion was graced by Dr Anup Singh, Director General, Nirma Universtiy and Shri D P Chhaya, Honorary Advisor (Academic and General Administration), Nirma University. The valedictory function was held on June 23, 2018 in the august presence of Prof Rajnish Jain, Secretary, University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi along with Dr Anup Singh, Director General, Nirma University.
