On August 17, 2019, Centre for Quality Assurance and Academic Development (CQAAD) concluded the Fifth Faculty Induction Training Programme. Certificates were distributed to the new faculty members on successful completion of their training. The training was from May 27 to June 21, 2019.
Dr Tejal Mehta, Deputy Director, CQAAD welcomed the gatherings and summarize the program in terms of quality of lectures, overall organization etc. She congratulated them on the successful completion of the training. She thanked management of Nirma University as well the experts, Evaluators and teaching and non-teaching staff members for their time and efforts in making this programme a grand success.
Verbal feedback was also taken from the faculty. It was found that the new faculty members were happy to be a part of such a programme and used the teaching techniques in their classes. They were able to capture the interest of the students with the interactive ways of teaching methods learned during their training.
Dr Anup Singh, Director General, Nirma University welcomed the faculty members and discussed the role a teacher plays in a student’s life. He concluded by wishing them good luck and aspired them to become role models in their student’s lives.
