Under the auspices of IQAC, Nirma University, Dr T V Kattimani, Vice Chancellor, Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh was invited to deliver the expert talk on ?Neighborhood Skills and Research? on May 23, 2022. Dr Heena Dave, Assistant Research Scientist, Directorate of Research and Innovation welcomed the dignitaries and the program started.
Dr Kattimani briefed about the importance of innovation, education and training for imparting knowledge and educating the tribal communities for their betterment. He also narrated the importance of mother tongue and language skills in order to impart education. He sensitised the audience to identify neighbourhood-based problems and solutions. He also mentioned that New Education Policy 2020 is pointing out skill-based innovations and will be beneficial to society at large. Dr Anup K Singh, Director General, Nirma University expressed his gratitude to Dr Kattimani for delivering a very informative and insightful session. More than ninety faculty members from various constituent institutes of Nirma University attended the session.
